Founded nearly 120 years ago, JR Byrne & Sons Ltd is one of Irelands oldest Wholesale Cash and Carry's. Based in Dublin, Ireland, we pride ourselves on being a family business and have a serviced the Retail Trade for nearly 125 years. From our inception we have strived to bring Better Value, Better Deals and Better Service to our customers. Over the 120 years we have seen a dramatic change in the Retail environment in Ireland and have constantly developed and expanded our business to meet our customers changing needs. Using these as the cornerstone of our business we have grown from strength to strength developing with our customers as the markets and buying habits of their customers have changed.

In 2000 we joined Stonehouse Marketing Ltd, www.stonehouse.ie . Stonehouse was established in early 2000, but the network has a history that encompasses more than 60 years of proudly serving the Irish retail market. Stonehouse is a product of the merger of Keencost Centres (Ireland), which has been trading since 1975 and the National Wholesale Groceries Alliance, which was established in 1961. Since joining Stonehouse we have won several Gold Standard Awards at the Stonehouse Annual awards ceremony as well as Checkouts Magazines Best Cash and Carry Award.

Stonehouse are Irelands leading Independent Wholesale and Distribution Group. Rooted in our family heritage Stonehouse Group is a network of 18 Independent Wholesale, Cash & Carry and Distribution Centre’s with a network of 21 outlets nationwide. Our members are 100% Irish and we pride ourselves on our local, personal, professional, flexible and quality level of service to each and every customer. Our values remain as always based around Openness, Teamwork, Agility and Growth. We strive on carrying out all aspects of our business through respect and fairness.

By being a member of Stonehouse we have access to 2 Great own Brands, Homestead Retail Brand and White Hat Catering Brand. Both ranges of these own labels are a way to access great quality products at affordable pricing. The products are developed and manufactured by leading suppliers. We look forward to continuing to grow and develop this area of the business to be able to offer strong array of fantastic, good quality products.
